Who we are
Lucco Boss and lucco.ai are run by Lucco Technology (202503276634), Johor Bahru, Malaysia. In these terms, "we" means Lucco Technology and "you" means the business or person using our service.
What these terms cover
This website, the Lucco Boss app at boss.lucco.ai and the pages it makes for your customers (company page, online shop, booking, queue, invoices). Custom systems and websites we build for you are covered by their own quotation.
Your account
Give true details, keep your password safe and tell us if someone else may have used your account. You are responsible for the staff and accountants you invite and for what they do in your account.
Free plan and paid modules
Lucco Boss is free to use with the free allowances shown on our pricing page. Paid modules are from RM290 a year each, or All-in at RM1,980 a year for the first 3 years, then RM4,990 a year. You pay a year at a time and nothing renews automatically. The price that applies is the one shown when you pay. We may change the free allowances or prices for the future, and we will tell you in the app before a change affects you. AI automatic replies have a monthly amount: 500 free, 6,000 with the AI module and 20,000 with AI Max (RM2,990 a year for the first 3 years, then RM5,990 a year). A top-up adds 2,000 for the month for RM49. When the amount runs out, messages wait for you and nothing extra is charged.
Your data
The business data you put into Lucco Boss belongs to you. We use it only to run the service for you, as our Privacy page explains. You can ask us for a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account.
Messages to your customers
When you use the inbox, automatic replies, WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram through Lucco Boss, you are responsible for the messages sent from your account. Only contact customers who agreed to hear from you, follow the Meta and WhatsApp policies, and follow the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Connecting your WhatsApp number
You connect a WhatsApp number to Lucco Boss yourself, in Meta's own window and under Meta's rules. Follow the steps and warnings on the setup page, and back up your WhatsApp chats before you connect. Meta decides what comes into Boss (for the WhatsApp Business app, one-to-one chats from the last 6 months) and what changes on the phone (broadcast lists, linked devices, opening the app at least once every 14 days). Chats and contacts on your phone stay on your phone. Lucco is not responsible for chats, contacts or a number lost because a step was done differently from the setup page (for example logging out or deleting the number first, or choosing a new number), or because of Meta's own rules or changes. We are happy to help you connect on a call.
ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps
You can connect your own ChatGPT, Claude or another AI app to Lucco Boss. That app is a service of its own provider: its plans, limits and terms apply (for example, ChatGPT apps work on the web only and changing things needs a Business, Enterprise or Edu plan). Lucco does not charge for the connection, and what you ask the app to do in Boss counts as done by you. Telling Boss to do things (AI Boss, from WhatsApp, Telegram, Ask Boss, ChatGPT or Claude) is counted per company each month: 100 on the free plan, 1,000 with AI Pro and 5,000 with AI Max, separate from the AI replies to customers. You can stop the connection any time in Settings.
Automatic replies and AI
Automatic replies use the information you write in Lucco Boss. AI answers can be wrong, so check your settings and the replies, and keep important matters such as prices, refunds and bookings under your own control. You can switch automatic replies off at any time.
Payments from your customers
Online payments from your customers go into your own Billplz, toyyibPay or Stripe account. We do not hold your money. Fees charged by those providers are between you and them.
Fair use and scams
Do not use the service for anything illegal, for spam, scams or misleading customers, to send content you have no right to send, or to try to break into or overload our systems. Companies that connect WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or Telegram, or send blasts, give us their company registration number. Replies that look like a scam are held for a person to check. When we see abuse we may pause automatic replies and sending, or suspend the account, at once, and we give message records to the authorities when the law requires it.
Acceptable use
When you use Lucco Boss, its AI, WhatsApp, Facebook or any messaging feature, you may not use them for: scams or fraud; phishing, or collecting bank or personal details under false pretences; pretending to be a bank, a government office, a payment app, or another business or person; selling or promoting illegal goods or services; sending messages to people who did not agree to receive them (spam); or harassment. When we find this, we may suspend the AI, broadcasts or the whole account at once and without notice. Fees already paid for a suspended service are not refunded. We may share information with the authorities when the law requires it. Meta may also restrict or ban a WhatsApp number that breaks WhatsApp's rules, separately from us. If you think we made a mistake, e-mail lucco.technology@gmail.com and we will reply within 5 working days.
Names and web addresses
Use your own company or brand name for your web address, company page, shop and menu. You may not use the name of a bank, a government office, a payment app, Lucco, or another business you do not own or have the right to use. When a name misleads customers or someone shows us it is theirs, we may change the web address or take the page down, and we will tell you why.
The service
We work to keep Lucco Boss available and your data safe, and we back it up. We may improve or change features. If we stop a paid feature you have paid for, we will offer a fair solution for the time left.
Responsibility
To the extent Malaysian law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Ending
You can stop using Lucco Boss at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why where we can.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
