Can I run payroll from WhatsApp?
Yes. Tell Mei "do this month's payroll". She works out each salary with EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB from attendance, leave and commission, shows you the totals, and after you reply 1 sends each staff their payslip on WhatsApp.
What she works out
Basic pay, overtime, commission, unpaid leave, and the employee and employer EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB at 2026 rates.
What you check
A short summary: total salaries, total contributions and anything unusual, such as a big overtime or a new staff.
After you approve
Payslips go to each staff on WhatsApp as PDF, and the payroll is recorded in your books.
Before the 15th
Add the 15th as a monthly deadline and Mei reminds you to pay EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB in time.
