Is there a free payslip generator in Malaysia?
Yes. Lucco Boss makes payslips free for up to 5 staff, with EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB worked out for you. Each staff sees their own payslip on their phone, and you can print it or save it as a PDF. To check one salary first, use /tools/payroll-calculator with no sign-up.
What a Malaysian payslip should show
The pay period, basic salary, allowances, overtime and bonus, unpaid leave, each deduction (EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB) with the employer's share of EPF, SOCSO and EIS, and the net pay. Keep a copy of every payslip for your records and your accountant.
Is a payslip template enough?
A template works for one or two staff if you calculate each deduction yourself every month. The work grows with every new staff, and a wrong PCB or EPF figure is easy to miss. Software that works out the amounts and keeps every month saves that checking.
How Lucco Boss does it
Set each person's salary once. Every month add overtime, bonus or unpaid leave, and approved claims flow in from HR. Boss works out the deductions, staff see their payslips in Boss, and you download a CSV for KWSP and your accountant. At year end Boss prepares the EA form. More staff: the HR module (free in the first year, then RM390 a year for 2 years).
