What should a quotation include?

Your company name, SSM number and contact, the customer's name, a quotation number and date, each item with quantity and price, SST if you are registered, the total, how long the price is valid, payment terms and what is not included.

The must haves

Company name and SSM number, address and phone. Customer name and contact. Quotation number and date. Each item or service, quantity, unit price and line total. SST shown separately if you are registered. The grand total.

The terms that prevent arguments

How many days the price holds, the deposit and when the balance is due, delivery or completion time, what is excluded, and how changes are charged. Most disputes come from things nobody wrote down.

Make it easy to say yes

Send it the same day you are asked, as a link the customer can open on the phone, with one button to accept. Follow up after two or three days if there is no reply.
