Can SQL Account connect to WhatsApp?
Yes, through software in between. SQL Account has an official API that other programs can use, and a program can read WhatsApp messages and send what it finds to SQL through that API. SQL Account does not chat on WhatsApp by itself. Lucco is building this link for wholesalers and factories, and it is not live yet.
What the official API means
An API is a door that lets other software read and write your SQL data in a controlled way, with a key you give it. It needs a recent SQL Account version, so ask SQL support which version you have and whether the API can be switched on.
What SQL already has
SQL Account has its own AI tool, EasyScan, to read documents you photograph into SQL. If that is all you need, use it.
What a WhatsApp link adds
The part SQL does not do is the conversation. The customer sends an order, the program recognises the company, customer and items, shows you a preview, waits for your approval, writes the order into SQL and sends the PDF back on WhatsApp. It should also hold the document in a queue if your computer is off and never write the same document twice. Ask any vendor about both.
How Lucco does it
Lucco is building exactly this on top of Lucco Boss, which already handles WhatsApp, customer recognition, approval by replying 1 and a queue. The SQL connection is in progress for wholesalers and factories. When there is a working demo, this page will say so. A project starts from RM8,000.
