How online invoice payment works
The invoice app connects to a payment gateway such as Billplz, toyyibPay or Stripe. Each invoice gets a pay link, the customer pays by FPX online banking or card, and the gateway tells the app the invoice is paid. The gateway charges its own fee per payment, so compare their rates.
What to look for
Check where the money lands: it should go into your own gateway account so you are paid directly. Check whether the invoice marks itself paid, whether you can take a deposit first and whether a quotation turns into an invoice without retyping.
How Lucco Boss does it
Send a quotation, the customer accepts it online, and it becomes an invoice. Add a deposit or payment stages for a large job. When the customer pays, the invoice is marked paid and the payment goes into your books. Quotations are unlimited and invoices are free up to 10 a month.
