How do I follow up WhatsApp customers without blasting?
Inside 24 hours of the customer's last message you can write freely. After 24 hours, Meta only allows a pre approved template message, and charges for it. Follow up one customer at a time, using their name and what they asked, and the message is no longer a blast. In Lucco Boss, Mei reads the whole chat before each follow up.
The 24 hour rule
Each time a customer messages you, a 24 hour window opens and resets. While it is open you can send any message. When it has passed, you can only send a template that Meta has approved, and the customer must have agreed to receive messages from you. Meta charges for each template message delivered.
What a good follow up looks like
One customer, one message, about what that customer asked. A template can have blanks for the customer's name and what they asked about, so it still reads as written for them. The same sentence sent to everyone is what customers ignore.
How Lucco Boss does it
When a customer stops replying, Mei follows up up to 3 times on the schedule you set, only between 9am and 9pm. Before each one she reads the chat. If the customer already booked, paid or said no, she does not send and leaves you a note. Inside 24 hours she writes from that customer's chat. After 24 hours she uses your template, with the name and the topic filled in, one customer at a time. You send a template to Meta for approval from the Boss back office and see whether it was approved.

Can my number get blocked for following up?
Following up through the official WhatsApp API is allowed, but if many customers report your messages, Meta can lower your number's quality rating. Send only to customers who asked or agreed, and stop when they say stop.
