How do I count hotel linen daily and bill once a month?

Record each delivery under the customer and, at month end, turn that customer's deliveries into one invoice. In Lucco Boss delivery orders are opened on the web, can be ticked together into one invoice, and Mei chases the invoice if it is not paid. Tags on each garment, weighing and delivery routes are not in Boss.

Why monthly billing works for hotels and salons

They send linen every day or several times a week, and they want one statement to pay. If you write an invoice for every pickup, they get lost. A daily count with one invoice at month end is easier to check on both sides.

How it works in Boss

Each pickup or delivery is a delivery order under that customer, with the number of pieces. At month end you tick that month's delivery orders and turn them into one invoice. A delivery order cannot be billed twice. You approve the invoice by replying 1 on WhatsApp, and Mei reminds the customer on your schedule if it stays unpaid.

Counting on WhatsApp

You can also keep the daily count on WhatsApp. Write the customer name on the first line, then one line per day, for example 8/11 bed sheets 40 pieces 1.20. You can forward the driver's note as it is. Mei reads it line by line and checks the total, and nothing is recorded until you reply 1. At month end, say invoice that hotel for November and it becomes one invoice.

What Boss does not do

It does not put a tag or scanner code on each garment, it does not price by weight and it does not plan driver routes. Order progress can be kept as a work order on the web, but a customer cannot ask for it on WhatsApp and is not told when the clothes are ready. If you need that, we can quote a custom build.
