Outsource the accounts or automate them?

They do different jobs. An outsourced accountant gives judgement, reports and filing. Automation does the daily typing of orders and invoices. Most small companies keep the accountant to check, and automate the typing so there is less to fix at month end.

What an accountant is for

Judgement on tax, closing the year, reports for the bank and advice. This stays with a person.

What automation is for

The daily, repeating part: recording orders, invoices, receipts and reminders the same way every time, without a late night.

Putting them together

The accountant opens the books and checks instead of asking you for documents. The books are already filled in, so the monthly work is shorter and the questions are fewer.

How Lucco fits

In Lucco Boss the books fill themselves as you invoice and record payments, and your accountant gets his own login to check. If you already use SQL Account or AutoCount, writing documents into them is being built for wholesale and factories, and your accountant keeps working in his software.

Questions bosses ask

Do I still need an accountant?

Yes. Someone qualified should check the accounts and handle tax. Automation takes over the typing.

Will this cut my accountant's fee?

That depends on your accountant. Fewer missing documents usually means less chasing, and you can ask for a quote on that basis.
