How do I record haggled prices, order changes and FOC?
Write the price you finally agreed on each invoice line, put free items on their own line so stock still goes down, and fix a mistake before the invoice goes out. If it is already sent, cancel it and issue a new one, or issue a Credit Note. The original stays on record. In Lucco Boss nothing is issued until you reply 1.
Haggling and last minute changes
Vegetable prices move every day and a customer may argue the price after the order. Record the price you agreed with that customer, line by line, so the invoice matches what you both remember. Fix quantity or price while it is still a draft. A customer who always says the same short word, such as BM for a vegetable, can be taught once: say BM is the cabbage seedlings, reply 1, or write it on the product page. If one short word fits two products, Mei picks by the price you wrote (within 20% of the product price) and asks when she cannot tell. She never guesses, and the price you wrote is the price used.
Free of charge items
If you give free goods, add them as their own invoice line with the price at 0 and the quantity as usual. The stock still goes down, and the customer can see what you gave. If your accountant wants free goods shown as a discount instead, ask them first.
When it was already sent
Voiding keeps the original document and does not delete it, and a Credit Note records the correction. In Boss you reply 1 before an invoice is issued, and you can say undo if you got it wrong.
